Acadia National Park is the most visited national park in Maine, and is located on the state’s coastal strip. Old Orchard Beach
If you fancy sun and swimming, a visit to the beautiful town of Old Orchard Beach is a must. Located in southern Maine, Old Orchard Beach is one of the premier vacation resorts in the state.

In Old Orchard Beach, in addition to a very pleasant city center, there is also a fantastic beach that is over a mile long. At the beach there is also a very nice promenade with shops and restaurants. On the Old Orchard Beach Pier there is a casino, and on the beach there is also an amusement park with merry-go-rounds.
